CLASS OF 2031 - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23
8th Grade Day is your daughter's chance to experience Xavier from the inside —classes, community, and all school pep rally she won't forget.
Friday, October 23, 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch is on us.
Space is limited to 550 students. 8th Grade Day fills every year.
8th Grade Day is for 8th graders considering Xavier. It isn't required as part of the admissions process, but it's the single best way for her to find out whether this is where she belongs. She'll spend the morning with students who were actually where she is a year ago.
Attendance isn't required to apply, and it doesn't affect her application. She should come if she's curious.
And we would love to meet her!
The whole visiting class together to start the morning.
Real classes, real teachers, guided by a Xavier student.
The entire school, all at once. This is the part they talk about on the drive home.
Served at 11:30, nothing to bring.
At check-in, every visitor is paired with a Xavier Student Ambassador who stays with her group all day. She won't be walking into a room alone.
Our campus is walled, so the street address won't bring you to the right place on the morning of the visit.
Enter at the intersection of 7th Street and Highland Avenue
Drop off at Bidwell Circle at 9:30 a.m.
Pick up at Bidwell Circle at 1:00 p.m.
There is no parking on campus. Drop-off and pick-up only.
Carpools of six students or fewer who arrive together will be kept in the same group. Students can't wait at check-in for friends who haven't arrived yet — it backs up the line for every family behind them. Arrive together, stay together.
If she wears a uniform skirt at her current school, have her wear it here. It's the easiest conversation starter in the building.
If she doesn't wear a uniform, Xavier's dress code applies.
Skirts no shorter than the top of the knee
No shorts
Jeans are fine — but no rips, holes, or frayed edges
No flip flops
Nothing. Please don't bring beverages onto campus. Lunch and drinks are provided at 11:30 a.m.
